Community Building Through Education
Through a wide range of internship and fieldwork projects, Tel Hai students disseminate idealism, motivation and newly acquired skills throughout the region.
In a classic "win-win" scenario, students gain life experience while the community benefits from quality services and the presence of positive role models.
Through the national Student Mentoring program, Tel Hai students earn tuition stipends by assisting area schoolchildren with their studies.
Tel Hai is proud to have the highest percentage of Student Mentors in the country.
Environmental Studies students are out in the field - detecting, reporting and following up on environmental hazards. Educational materials on environmental protection, prepared by Tel Hai students, are used by schools and youth groups throughout the Galilee.
A program to strengthen Jewish and Arab families, sponsored by the School of Social Work, gives professionals in the field guidance and support in leading new projects in their communities.
A pilot educational program in Democracy and Peace, developed at Tel Hai for Kiryat Shmona's largest public high school, will be implemented by Education Department faculty and students.

The Challenge Continues
Success leads to success and Tel Hai College is growing as rapidly as its reputation. Yet in the face of an ever increasing student body and shrinking government subsidies, maintaining the College's vitality and position in the community is even more of a challenge.
The continued development of the Galilee is a top national priority. Tel Hai takes a leading role in this campaign.
