Regional Development:
From its inception, Tel Hai College has made every effort to offer otherwise unavailable first-rate higher education to the young men and women of the Galilee. In addition, the College has taken the role of promoting and strengthening the Galilean community as a whole. To that end
the Triangle Development Plan was formed, bringing academia, research and industry together to advance knowledge, found research-based industries and create employment opportunities for the Galilee.
Joining Tel Hai College in this partnership are the Migal Galilee Technology Center, a life sciences research center whose scientists are members of the College faculty and where Tel Hai students take active part in research projects, and the Meytav Technological Incubator, where research developments with clear commercial potential are carefully guided from lab to marketplace. Migal and Meytav will also relocate to reside side-by-side on a single site that is no further than one kilometer from today's Tel Hai Campus.
In a true academic community dissemination of knowledge goes hand-in-hand with discovery; faculty and students of academic institutions actively engage in investigation and inquiry, they cannot focus solely on teaching. Migal is therefore the next entity due to relocate to a site adjacent to the new Tel Hai campus.
For the advancement of science and the Galilee, the combined efforts of Tel Hai and Migal are greater than the individual parts. Research excellence is the successful product of this alliance, positioning the young College as a center of internationally recognized scientific discovery. Research projects in agro-science, therapeutics, ecology and analytical chemistry are advancing human knowledge. The Tel Hai-Migal connection is therefore vital to the continued academic success of the College, where gifted scientists and students are encouraged to develop new research initiatives.
The Tel Hai mission is large-scale, but then so is the difference its fulfillment makes on a large region of Israel and all the men, women and children who live in it.
- For the residents of the development towns and agricultural settlements of Northern Israel, Tel Hai College offers academic and continuing education programs at a quality equal or better than in the center of the country.

- Cultural, educational and environmental programs sponsored by Tel Hai enrich the quality of life in the entire region.
- In homes and in schools Tel Hai students and faculty mentor, counsel and support individuals and families.
- Student dormitories are located in Kiryat Shmona, the region's largest development town, and the area kibbutzim and moshavim, reflecting the College's commitment to fortify the local community.
- Hi-tech industries in the region benefit from the College's research capabilities and skilled workforce, and enable Tel Hai graduates to settle in the region.
Through its students, faculty and programs, Tel Hai College streams vital life forces into the region.
