A Place for Every Student
The mandate of Tel Hai College is to meet the educational needs of as broad a population as possible. Yet our involvement goes much further - we aim to provide
assistance and support to enable every student to realize his or her inherent potential.
Tel Hai's
Support Center for Students with Learning Disabilities is a national model for teaching students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. With remarkable success rates, the Center teaches learning disabled students the skills and strategies needed to succeed in a rigorous academic setting. According to the testimony of many Tel Hai graduates, this unique program effectively changed their lives.
15% of all Tel Hai students have learning disabilities.
Tel Hai grants over 750
scholarships each year, out of the conviction that economic hardship should not prevent motivated students from receiving a quality education. Most scholarships are linked to community service, mainly student mentoring - either in the College or in the region's schools.
Senior citizens are encouraged to enroll or simply audit courses at the College.
Programs for i
ndividuals who did not complete matriculation exams provide a framework for continuing education and professional training.
Special programs are also available for
